Building a Data Strategy for the United States

The RDA-US community

The United States Research Data Alliance (RDA-US) community has been a leading partner in the founding, development, and support of the global Research Data Alliance. Launched with seed funding from several US funders (NSF, NIST, Sloan Foundation, Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation), US members of RDA have contributed countless volunteer hours to develop and advance a well-respected global network of data professionals addressing fundamental issues of data sharing and reuse. The RDA-US initiative has led, coordinated, and supported US members over a productive and impactful 10-year journey.

expanding the knowledge of open use and re-use of data sharing within the US

strengthening the international data science infrastructure community

leveraging diverse perspectives across the US in order to build a more equitable data future

RDA-US is a strong voice in leading and supporting the unique needs of the US data community.
